MEMORIAL 5K RUN
Our annual 5K Run will take place on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Reading Area Community College - 2nd and Penn Streets, Reading PA. The course is a flat run through a course marked on and around the campus of RACC. There is also a ½ mile Fun Run for the kids! (Please be sure to register your children before the event so we have enough goodie bags for everyone.)

5k Run & Kiddie Kop ½ Mile Kids Fun Run & “Top Cop” Award Categories
LOCATION: Reading Area Community College (RACC) Student Center, 2nd & Penn Streets, Reading, PA. Take Penn Street exit off Rt. 422 & cross bridge into Reading. RACC is at end of bridge on right.
TIME: Registration opens at 9:00am. 5K steps off at 10:00am and Fun Run at approximately 11:00am.
DETAILS: T-shirt guaranteed to all pre-entries of 5K. Late and day-of entries receive shirt on first come, first served basis. Small prize for Fun Run finishers. Refreshments, great parking, time clock at finish & instant results. Rain or shine. No refunds or mailed awards. Results on www.pretzelcitysports.com in 48-72 hours. Benefits Michael H. Wise, II Memorial Foundation which honors the life of fallen Reading City Police Officer Michael H. Wise, II, who died in the line of duty in June 2004.
COURSE: FAST, wheel-measured course on closed streets and shaded asphalt trail. GREAT place to PR!

30-39: 3M, 3F
40-49: 3M, 3F
50-59: 3M, 3F
60 & over: 3M, 3F
Kids Fun Run: Small prize for all finishers.
LAW ENFORCEMENT AWARDS: "TOP COP" to Fastest Law Enforcement runner overall plus:
18-39: 2M, 2F
40+: 2M, 2F

ENTRY: For 5K, $25 if postmarked by Sept. 12. $30 after deadline including race day. For Fun Run, $4 if postmarked by Sept. 12. $5 after deadline including race day. No shirts for fun run.
